the denotation of a mixed media piece is a media that uses or than one form of art. this can mean combining photo and paint. an example of this would be printing out a picture and painting a similar design to the same piece of paper. examples of mixed media could be collages, quilting, or wood painting. for my mixed media, i used photoshop and a picture i have taken. specifically, i took a picture of a side view mirror. i thought it would look interesting to select the sky in the mirror and saturate the it. to the right is my finished picture, and i think it turned out well.
